Correctional Services of Solomon Islands (CSSI) Investigation and Compliance & Inspections Officers had successfully completed a four days training on Basic Investigation Course over the weekend at the CSSI Headquarter, Rove.
Speaking during the official closing, Commissioner Gabriel Manelusi thanked the Course Facilitator Mr Jack Balaga from JADI General Professional Services, Mr Robert Gada Director CSSI Professional Standard Unit and Participants for the completion of the course.
Commissioner Manelusi reiterated his Executive’s full support for this investigative training and it’s a bonus as it added value on existing investigation knowledge and skills. This would enable them to apply these concepts on their current role.
“This training is seen as a high need in the organization in progressing our investigation activities; prepare reports, analyse reports and make judgements for an effective and efficient decision making on matters of investigation”.
The Commissioner believed that this comprehensive training course has certainly equipped with key investigation concepts and theories, analyse reports, including skills and knowledge to develop investigative strategies and professionally performances without fear or favour.
On behalf of the CSSI Executive, he thanked the Director of Professional Standard Unit, Director Correctional Service Academy and Managing Director of JADI General Professional Services Mr Jack Balaga for the ongoing support and collaborative partnership.
Participants that accomplished this Basic Investigation Course are officers from Tetere Correctional Centre (TCC), Rove Central Correctional Centre (RCCC) and CSSI Headquarter.
