It is with joy, that we send you, our sincere greetings and blessings as we celebrate this Easter season.
Easter is a celebration of the gift God gave us through the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. It is the ultimate sacrifice that God made as a father, by sending his one and only son to take on the atonement of our sins.
Apostle John testified about the plan of redemption for mankind in John 3:16 which states; “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Our Savior’s triumphant victory, over death redeem us back to God. The broken relationship between mankind and God, after the fall of humanity in the garden of Eden is now restored through the incarnation of Christ’s death and resurrection, giving us salvation and renewed hope.
As we enter this Easter celebration, let us be reminded that Easter is a time not only to rejoice but is also a time to reflect on the pain and suffering our Lord Jesus Christ went through to provide salvation for you and me.
It is also a time to acknowledge our short comings, embrace our successes and learn from our past with prayer, honouring God for His Grace, love, mercy and faithfulness throughout the years. Despite, the challenges that this year has brought, especially with the impacts from the pandemic on our economy and our livelihoods, still our trust and confidence is in GOD YAHWEH. Therefore, let us rejoice and be courage, and lift up our eyes to the hill from whence our help cometh from the LORD, the maker of the heavens and the earth.
May this Easter bring us hope, joy, peace as we join families and friends across our beloved country, to remember the marvellous gift, the Son of God, who is our eternal hope and Prince of Peace.
Rejoice! Christ is risen! Have a blessed and Happy Easter.
God Bless Solomon Islands from shore to shore.
