Commissioner Correctional Service of Solomon Islands Gabriel Manelusi congratulated Correctional Officer Melowyn Saleni on his well-deserved success who are among thousands of Solomon Islanders students who received their Academic Qualification as graduates of the Solomon Island National University (SINU) in a graduation ceremony held last Thursday November 11, 2021 at the Maratha Hall East Honiara
He CO Saleni graduated from the Panatina Campus, School of Education and Humanities with Diploma Youth and Development Studies at the Solomon Island National University (SINU)
CO Saleni said the main purpose of the course undertaken focus mainly on rehabilitation, regeneration and reintegration programs more successfully and professionally as unified to the Organisation vision and mission
“It helps RRR unit to design, create or indicate influence programs that would be brought positive behavioural changes within the inmates and prison environment and managerial guidance for mentally affected inmates and even our youth health outside there
He has been involved in areas such as shift officer SMU block four RCCC for workplace safety.
He thanked the office of the Commissioner and his executive for funding support through CSTC training coordinator to facilitate his study programs successfully.
