MECDM 33/2024 299-00177 Principal Environment/Conservation Officer [Re-advertised] L8/9 ECD | Malaita Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Management studies or a related discipline OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
MECDM 34/2024 299-00140 Principal Ocean Services Officer L8/9 Met Service | Honiara Bachelor of Science in Oceanography, Meteorology, Maths, Physics, Environmental Science or related fields. 2 to 3 years of work experience in climate/ocean prediction services are preferred.
MECDM 35/2024 299-00035 Senior Technician L7/8 Met Service | Honiara Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Information and Communication Technology, Electronics or any related field. A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in ICT duties.
MECDM 36/2024 299-00114 Community Based Disaster Risk Officer L7/8 NDMO | Honiara Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science. A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in emergency situation related duties.
MECDM 37/2024 299-00181 Senior Communication Officer [Re-advertised] L7/8 HQ | Honiara Diploma in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism or related field.

3 – 5 years’ experience in a media/ communications role.
MECDM 38/2024 299-00006 Receptionist L3/4 HQ | Honiara Certificate in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration and a minimum of 2 years work experience in government ministries, private sector or similar institution.
MECDM 39/2024 299-00096 Driver L2 HQ | Honiara A valid driving license with experience on basic vehicle maintenance and clean driving record in the past 3 years.
MECDM 40/2024 299-00093 Driver L2 ECD | Honiara A valid driving license with experience on basic vehicle maintenance and clean driving record in the past 3 years.
MECDM 41/2024 299-00173 Cleaner & Gardener [Re-advertised] L2 Auki Met Station Preferably a Form 3 leaver and/or with similar experience in office cleaning environment.
