Cheerful, Blessed and Holy Easter Celebrations
“JESUS CHRIST IS RISEN. HALLELUJAH”.
As we celebrate this Holy Season as per the Christian Calendars, lets us reflect and ponder in deep meditation to fully understand what Easter really means to us.
Easter is a season where all Christians throughout the world including Solomon Islands come together to celebrate the Victory that Jesus Christ the Son of God did for all mankind. This day symbolises Christ Power over sin and death, and it also confirms to us that there is an everlasting reward He prepared for us. And that is Everlasting Life.
However, the journey to the Cross by our lord is not an easy road that any ordinary person can go through. Despite of his Holy Status in the Heavenly Realm, He accepted and obeyed His Father’s instructions and descend to the earth in Human Likeness. On his way to the Cross, he was betrayed by his own disciples, was spat on, whipped, tested, stripped, speared, nailed and hanged on the cross for our iniquities.
Despite of all the challenges that we face up with; either individually, as a family, a community, a ministry, and as a nation. But in the power of His resurrection gives us hope that we are truly serving a True and Living God.
As we celebrate, let us embrace each other “as men should brothers be, make nations see”.
God Bless You all and God Bless Solomon Islands from Shore to Shore.
