Name of Project: Rectification Works to Standard Classroom Building at Siva Primary School, Bellona Island, Renbel Province
The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development (MEHRD) has budget funding for the Rectification Works to the Siva Primary School Standard Classroom and now invites interested eligible Contractors to submit tenders for the provision of these works. Full details are provided in the Technical Specifications, Drawings and Bill of Quantities.
A Contractor will be selected under Solomon Islands Government Competitive Tendering procedures, specified in the Financial Management (Procurement) Regulations 2021, SIG Financial Instructions 2010 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual 2022, and is open to all eligible Tenderer.
To be eligible for the Tender, Tenderers must meet the following minimum requirements;
(a) Must be a legally registered business and must have been in operation for the last 5 years.
(b) Total monetary value of construction works performed for each of the last five is $1,500,000.00;
(c) Key site management and technical personnel proposed for the Contract must be qualified and experienced to carry out the contract;
(d) Must have Major items of construction equipment proposed to carry out the Contract;
(e) Must have Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years, and details of work under way or contractually committed; and Purchasers who may be contacted for further information on those contracts;
(f) Must have history of successful contract performance;
(g) Demonstrated Financial Capacity and Stability to Meet the Contract Requirements and Sustain Performance Throughout the Contract Period;
(h) Evidence of payment of insurance policies as outlined in the Contract Form.

Tenders must be delivered in sealed envelopes to the address below at or before 2:00pm, 8 October 2026. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of Tender submission. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 2:30pm, 8 October 2026. Late or incomplete tenders shall not be accepted.
