Name of Project: DEMOLITION OF INCOMPLETE BIOSECURITY OFFICE AT NORO, WESTERN PROVINCE
The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development invites interested eligible Contractors to submit tenders for the Construction of Works for the Demolition of incomplete Biosecurity office at Noro, Western Province. Full details are provided in the attached Technical Specifications, Schedule of Activities and Drawings.
Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Financial Instructions 2010 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual, and is open to all eligible Tenderer. The contract will be awarded the lowest responsive evaluated tender.
Qualification Criteria
To be considered for the Award, a tenderer must meet the Employer’s Experience and Qualification requirement, as follows:
- Be an SIG –registered Company with a company Number (CRN) or Registration of Business Name (RBN)
- Has a Tax Identification Number (TIN) with IRD
- Have a Business License from either HCC or Provincial License
- Must have NPF registration number etc.
- Has been in a construction business 2016
- Has Successful completed at least one similar works of the same size with technical complexity in the last 5 years
- Have at its disposal the use of required construction equipment’s
- Have in its employ the required construction personnel’s
- Have a financial backing from the commercial banks and must show evidence of its bank
Interested eligible Tenderer may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development; Freddy Kwakwala; FKwakwala@mal.gov.sb and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
A complete set of Tender documents in English may be obtained by interested Tenderer on the submission of a personal or written application to the address below, The Tender fee is $150.00 Non-Refundable payable at MAL Cashier ATL Building Kingdom Hall Area, Kukum High Way.
Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT), and following the requirements of the ITT, must be delivered to the address below at or before [2:00 pm, Friday 2nd October 2026]. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of Tender submission. Late or incomplete Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at [2:00 pm Friday 02nd October 2026].
