EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR ICE CUBES
As part of the 2023 Pacific Games, Sol2023, the Games Organizing Committee (GOC) is inviting interested Ice Cubes Producers/Businesses to supply Ice Cubes for the 2023 Pacific Games Operations.
The 2023 Pacific Games will be the largest event in the history of Solomon Games which will be held in Honiara from 19th November to 2nd December 2023. This is a major regional multi-sport event that brings together athletes from across the Pacific region to compete in various sports. The GOC is responsible for planning and delivery of the Pacific Games.
The GOC is looking for information about business that can produce ice. The Games would like to understand the operation of the bidder for the ice business and to answer the following questions:
- How much ice can be produced per day?
- What type of ice is produced e.g. cube, block, etc?
- How is the ice purchased? (GOC prefers 2kg)
- What are the storage capabilities do you have?
- What ice delivery capabilities are available?
With the answers to these questions please provide information about the production of the ice, such as specifications of your machines, staffing, existing ice contracts, etc.

Interested ice cube businesses must submit their Expressions of Interest in a proposal containing all information requested in the EOI by no later than Friday 9th June 2023 at 16:00 hours. Late submissions will not be considered.
