The Ministry of Police, National Security and Correctional Services (MPNSCS) invites interested eligible Contractors to submit tenders for the SUPPLY and INSTALLATION of 2 x Standby Generators for RSIPF PG23 Operation Stations. Full details are provided in the Technical Specifications, Scope of Works & Bill of Quantities.
Bidding will be conducted through the Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Public Financial Management (Procurement) Regulations 2021 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual 2022, and is open to all eligible Tenderers. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive evaluated tender.

To qualify for this tender, tenders must meet the following minimum criteria
(a) An average annual financial amount of similar works over the past 2 years of at least 50% of the total tender price.
(b) Liquid assets and/or credit facilities, net of other contractual commitments of no less than 50% of the price tendered; or alternatively, must show evidence of access to a line of credit with a reputable bank in the Solomon Islands to finance the contract.
(c) Experience as prime contractor in at least two successfully completed works of a nature and complexity equivalent to the works over the last three to five years (to comply with this requirement, works cited should be at least 70% complete);
(d) Access to (own, lease, hire, etc.) essential equipment required to complete the project works and as evidenced submit equipment plan:
(e) Not have been blacklisted nor suspended by any SIG ministry or agency; tenderers must have no record of poor performance in any of its previous contracts
A complete set of Tender document in English may be obtained by interested eligible Tenderers upon issued receipt from payment of SB$50.00 dollars Non-Refundable fee at Ministry of Finance & Treasury (MOFT) Cashier.
Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT), and following the requirements of the ITT, must be delivered to the address below at or before 2pm, Thursday 02nd November, 2023. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 90 days after the deadline of Tender submission. Late or incomplete Tenders will be rejected. Tenders will be opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 2pm, Thursday 02nd November, 2023.
