Member of Parliament for East Kwaio Constituency, Honourable Stanley Festus Sofu, visited patients who were treated at the Atoifi Hospital Thursday last week (9th June, 2022).
Hon. Sofu who is conducting constituency awareness meetings made the brief stop-over visit at the Adventist Mission-managed hospital where he shares spiritual enlightening words for those sick men and women. He also presented kind assistance to each individual sick patient to support them in their recovery stage.
Atoifi Hospital Nurse Manager, Ben Polosovai, expressed gratitude and sincerely thanked the East Kwaio leader for the visit and assistance to the sick.
“On behalf of Atoifi Hospital, I would like to thank Hon. Sofu and may God bless him for support towards the sick which lift up their recovery spirit of our patients and even our hospital operations,” said Polosovai.
There were nineteen patients being admitted at the 5 wards of the hospital during the visit.
Hon. Sofu and team has already complete their weeklong talks covering main areas such as Olomburi, Sinaragu, Yuru Harbour and Kwaibaita communities.
The talks revolve around the Government’s decision to switch diplomatic ties to People’s Republic of China (PRC), the recently signed MOU’s including the security pact with PRC and the basis of cabinets’ decision for deferment of General Elections to 2024 and the South Pacific Games 2023.
